As we commemorate Lesbian Visibility Week…

(April 21-27, 2025), UTOPIA PDX stands in steadfast solidarity with our lesbian community members. This annual observance is dedicated to "celebrating rainbow families," spotlighting LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people's families, giving them the platform to be understood and appreciated. 

At UTOPIA PDX, we recognize our trans and lesbian allies who have relentlessly advocated for the rights and resources we enjoy today, as well our Pacific Islander lesbian elders, activists, and community members whose unwavering advocacy has forged paths for our future generations.  Without their unwavering commitment, the QTPI community wouldn’t have made such significant strides toward equality and acceptance. Your courage continues to inspire our work as we strive toward collective liberation.

UTOPIA PDX reaffirms our commitment to fostering an inclusive community where all identities are respected, celebrated, and empowered. We continue to learn, grow, and adapt as we work to dismantle systems of oppression that affect our lesbian community members and all QTPIs.
