We’re excited for this year’s Sāmoan Festival at Peninsular Park! Fa’afetai lava (thank you so much) to our family & friends from Sāmoa Pacific Development (SPDC) for hosting this event annually and giving Pacific Islanders in Portland, another heritage festival to look forward too and celebrate.
Join us this year and stop by our table for a cooling rag, community resources, and a game to win prizes! This year’s MC will be the one and only Marina Davis so be sure to save the date!

Join us for part one of our food preservation series with Kaina! This month’s workshop will feature guest speaker and founding member of the NW Indigenous Food Sovereignty Alliance, and the Assistant Director of Feed Our People The Uprise Collective, Jennie Brixey!
Jennie has been participating in food preservation for years, is a certified OSU Master Food Preserver through Gather, Preserve, Store, Share, and food preservation program for Tribal and Native communities. We look forward to collaborating and sharing culturally centered food preservation practices both with Jennie, and community members!
