Our first mākeke was only the beginning for UTOPIA PDX, we’re beyond excited to announce that the process for planning the next mākeke event has begun! Rooted & Rising celebrates being grounded and growing into the new spring season being well rested, inspired, & ready to gather with community both indoors and outdoors again.

We’re so excited to host another mākeke(market) event for QTPI’s in the Portland area!! Join us on Saturday, March 21st to shop QTPI businesses, support youth vendors, and more!

We’ll have a Plant & Seed Swap at our Rooted & Rising Mākeke on March 21st! Check out our table for plants, starters, seeds, and more. Connecting with roots and nature promotes healing in diaspora. We hope you’ll visit our Plant & Seed Swap Table for planting supplies!
